We see the dictionary definition of etiquette as being the customs or norms of our society, but why exactly is etiquette important? Wouldn't you say that it is important to make others around you feel comfortable? Etiquette is exactly that...the practice of making others feel comfortable. We are constantly impacting people around us through our words, actions and body language. By learning and mastering our own behavior we will feel secure in ourselves and help others to feel relaxed around us.
